For two nights only, Topper’s Mountain winemaker Jan Taborsky takes the reins at The Art Syndicate, bringing his wines, his knowledge and his stories from a winemaker’s perspective.

Topper’s Mountain comes from one of NSW’s most distinctive landscapes: a vineyard perched over 900 metres above sea level in New England, where cool conditions and rare red volcanic soils create a home for unusual varieties and small-batch, single-vineyard wines.

Jan is also co-founder and winemaker of Origines, a micro-négociant project with fellow winemaker Alex Beckett, exploring cool-climate NSW through Chardonnay and letting each vineyard and region speak for itself.

And he’s bringing a couple of wines you can’t normally get your hands on yet: Topper’s Vintage Extra Brut 2022 and Origines Altitude Chardonnay 2025.
