Events

NSW Wine is committed to raising the profile of NSW wines domestically and internationally and runs a series of consumer, industry, export and trade initiatives each year to support this outcome. We do this in partnership with our corporate sponsors and with government partners like Investment NSW, Destination NSW, The Rocks and the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

In 2025 NSW Wine will host regular varietal masterclasses and trade tastings in Sydney, deliver the flagship Sydney Cellar Door event in November and regular NSW Wine Cellar Doors in the The Rocks plus our annual awards program comprising the NSW Wine Show and Sommelier Wine List Awards.

  • NSW Wine Awards

    The NSW Wine Awards were created in 1996 to build awareness of the quality of wines produced in NSW. Since inception the Awards have become an indicator of the growth and diversity of our State’s industry, and recognised the potential of new regions within NSW.

  • Sommelier Wine List Awards

    Are you the next NSW Wine Star? These awards are dedicated to supporting and rewarding restaurants, wine bars, pubs, clubs and hotels in Sydney and regional NSW that are true #NSWWineStars - offering their customers a great wine experience and a range of delicious local wines that showcase the quality and diversity of wines being produced in our state.

  • Sydney Cellar Door

    Located at First Fleet Park and Tallawoladah Lawn (outside the MCA, The Rocks), this two-day wine festival brings together wineries from across the state showcasing the breadth, quality and diversity of wines produced on our doorstep and giving you the chance to meet the people behind your local drop.
